Posted @withregram • @electriccarnews Tesla are reportedly undecided as to whether they’ll launch a revised Model S // X or can both of them in the long-term. Whilst the Plaid platform will come to the current-gen S & X in a few months time, boosting performance and range, aesthetically both cars will remain the same with similar hardware also. Last October Musk said that Tesla were only still making the S and X for ‘sentimental’ reasons. He believes the immediate future of the firm lies in the 3, Y, Cybertruck and of course the Semi. The next-gen Roadster will likely be a key step too, but with only 6-10k to be built each year it won’t be a main source of revenue for the firm – its main purpose will likely be brand appeal.
